In five days, with a small team of collaborators + friends from all over we’ll be shooting and directing three short films back-to-back. This is the Five Day Films Project—an experiment in urgency, trust, and independent creation.
These films include:
- Afterglow — a poetic end-of-the-world story.

The Five Day Films Project is a living portfolio of stories, each one distinct but born from the same burst of creation.

Afterglow
Short Film // September 2025
A poetic end-of-the-world story: two girls who know it’s their last day on Earth, and a stranger who joins them on the road to die at the ocean. As the weight of the world grows heavier, they crawl toward the beach to face the meteor together. I wrote this film, and I’ll also be acting in it. It’s inspired by moments in history when the world felt like it might break and by my own fascination with how people love, fight, and find each other when time runs out.

Brilliant Traces
Stage // Cindy Lou Johnson // February 2026
An intimate two-character play by Cindy Lou Johnson. In a remote Alaskan cabin, two strangers collide on a stormy night, unraveling their pasts and their need for connection. Both haunting and unexpectedly funny, the play explores isolation, survival, and the fragile ways people find each other.
